10 - Final Touches

All the final touches!!! I hope these videos have been helping you out on how to convert a mini van vs a cargo van.

At this point most of this is just for inspiration on how to put all the little final touches on your van. The van is built and ready to go. The video shows you some of the hinges I used ... all flush mounting and quite strong so the cupboards all snap close.

From there I used a hinge to lock the food cabinet and also the drop down lock that is drilled into the floor. ... photos coming soon if you can't watch the video.

Another final touch is all the curtains. I ended up making mine reversible and also layered in some fleece to make little window blankets. Obviously not a concern if you are only traveling in the summer, but I will be traveling through the winter as well so any little things that help when I have a heater running inside to keep the heat in is a plus.

I also finished off around the fridge to keep it all in its place so it doesn't slide out when I am driving. This is really important if you have a lighter fridge like mine or if you didn't do a drop down fridge through the countertop. Do make sure to secure your fridge.

Other than that, any little cupboard and space you can build in is a huge plus at this point and hope this helps by showing you what I did.
